Terms of use

Last updated 15 October 2026

By creating an account or using Bloopy you agree to these terms. Please read them; they're short.

1. Who can use Bloopy

You must be 18 or older, use your real name and your own ID, and keep one account per person. You're responsible for keeping your password and email accounts safe.

2. Bitcoin is risky

Bitcoin's price can rise or fall a lot, quickly. You can lose some or all of the money you put in. Only use money you can afford to lose. Nothing on Bloopy, including Bloopy chat, the creators we list and the community, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

3. Bloopy never holds your money

When you buy Bitcoin, the payment is made on a licensed payment partner's site (such as Alchemy Pay or Transak) under their own terms, and the Bitcoin is sent to the wallet address you give. Double-check that address: Bitcoin sent to a wrong address can't be recovered. Bloopy can't reverse, cancel or refund a purchase; contact the payment partner about any payment issue.

3a. The built-in wallet

The Bloopy wallet is self-custody: only you hold its keys. Your 12 backup words are the only way to recover it if you lose or reset your phone. Bloopy never sees them and cannot recover them, reverse a payment or move your Bitcoin for you. Keep the words on paper, private and safe.

4. Fees

Bloopy adds its own fee to each purchase: 5% normally, or 2% for Bloopy Plus members. The payment partner also charges its own fee. Every fee is shown on the partner's checkout before you pay.

5. Bloopy Plus

6. Creators and the community

6a. Earn with Bloopy (affiliate programme)

7. Security checks

To protect everyone we use email codes, a mobile number code, a picture puzzle, one account per device and an ID check before buying. Temporary emails and virtual or temporary phone numbers are not accepted. We may refuse or close an account if a check fails, if we suspect fraud, or if the law requires it.

8. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Bloopy running and accurate, but it's provided "as is". Prices and balances come from third parties and can be delayed. To the extent the law allows, Bloopy isn't liable for losses from price changes, partner services, wrong wallet addresses, or events outside our control.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app or by email before important changes take effect. Questions: hello@bloopy.site.
